Jeannie lives in Ottawa, Ontario where she owns and operates her massage therapy clinic, Myobalance. She has been painting for more than 10 years and decided in 2021 to share her work with the world.
Jeannie studied acrylic painting, abstract painting, drawing and various workshops which all contribute to her painting style. Her primary focus is abstract and abstract expressionism. Through exploration of colour and texture she creates her acrylic on canvas pieces.
Jeannie draws from every day life experiences, past and present to create her art. She grew up in beautiful Prince Edward Island known the world over as a place of tranquil beauty. You will see some of her art is inspired by her personal experiences there, in particular the beauty of "island" land and seascapes. You will find a variety of styles, which tend to be seasonal, this keeps things interesting for her and for her collectors!
